The Clinical Pharmacist will play a crucial role in filling and labeling prescriptions, providing drug-related information to patients, hospital employees, and medical staff, and supervising the activities of pharmacy technical support staff.
Education/License/Certificate Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Current Texas Pharmacist license.
- Pharmacy Sterile Product certification through an in-house or other accredited program.
Experience Requirements:
- Completion of PGY1 Residency Program required; PGY2 or Fellowship in Pediatrics highly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a hospital Pharmacist with knowledge of the unit dose medication and I.V. admixture processes.
- Clinical Pharmacy Specialty experience in Pediatrics/NICU.
- Inpatient pediatric experience.
